About our Daycare
It was founded in 2015 with a lot of love for education and for children.
Since then, it has been a second home for many families, a safe space for working parents who are committed to providing the best education for their children and who are interested in giving them the gift of a second language.
At Colibrí you will find an extension of home where your children will receive attention, love, care, a structured education, a personalized age-appropriate curriculum and organic food.
Colibrí is more than a daycare, it is more than a specialized educational center, it is more than a family… It is the space where children explore their potential and initiate bonds of friendship that will last for many years to come.

OUR FOUNDER:
Hi, I am Elizabeth Ortiz
Graduated in Business administration from Universidad del valle de México
Founder of Colibrí Family Child Care. I started this project following my passion for providing early childhood education and Spanish immersion.
My love for early childhood education began with my sons Diego and Gabriel, ages 20 and 16 respectively. Thanks to them, I know what it is like to be a mother and I understand perfectly what it is like to leave your precious baby in the care of someone who is not family and who you don’t know. I’ve been there and I know the feeling and the great, good and bad experiences that come with it.
That’s why I decided to commit to something as valuable as early care and education. I am certified in Early Childhood Education at Cañada College, and I am constantly taking courses and trainings to perfect my knowledge and skills.
Nothing will make me happier than putting my passion and knowledge at the service of your family and being part of your children’s growth and learning. I look forward to seeing you at Colibrí Family Childcare!
